We are actively seeking Experienced Raise bore Drillers to join us within the Barminco Vertical Development Team. This is a 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off roster across various sites. Operators are responsible for the construction of ventilation raises, escape ways, ore passes, stope slots and other service-related excavations. Duties and Responsibilities Make sure that the relevant Safety, Mining and other statutory Codes and Regulations are followed. Reads and accurately follows mine instruction plans with skill and precision ensuring holes are drilled to design line, gradient, and profile. Ensuring inspections and maintenance is carried out on all equipment before use. Set up and troubleshoot on Raise Bore RHINO HM100 utilising the new technology. Construction of ventilation raises, escape ways, ore passes, stope slots and other service-related excavations. Requirements Minimum 2 years’ experience working as a Raise Bore Operator with Rhino experience. First Aid Certificate, or willing to obtain. Dogging Certificate, or willing to obtain. Working at Heights, or willing to obtain. Full Australian working rights. Ability to meet all site access requirements which includes a full pre-employment medical, drug & alcohol screen and be able to provide a current National Police Certificate.
