About the Role As a Home Care Worker, your role will be as diverse and rewarding as the people you’ll be supporting. You’ll help seniors in their homes with everyday tasks, offer companionship, and provide a friendly ear. Whether it’s helping with meal preparation, transportation, or just offering a caring presence, you’ll be making a real difference in someone's day Key Responsibilities: Companionship & Support: Offer emotional support and friendly companionship to clients. Household Assistance: Help with light cleaning, meal prep, shopping, and keeping the home running smoothly. Transport & Activities: Assist clients with transport to appointments and community outings. Empowering Independence: Encourage clients to stay independent and healthy in the comfort of their own home. Whether you’re experienced or new to the industry, we’ll ensure you have all the tools you need to succeed. You’ll need: A current driver’s license and a reliable, registered, and insured vehicle (we’ll reimburse you for travel expenses at $0.96 per km). Certificate 3 in Individual Support - you don't need qualifications for social or domestic support shifts. A National Police Check (we’ll help you get this if needed).
