Join Our Team as a Floral Wrapper/Florist Are you passionate about floristry and customer service? Our client, a market leader in wholesale floral and potted products, is seeking an enthusiastic Floral Wrapper/Florist to join their field team, working within a major retail store on a casual ongoing basis, specifically 5 days per week (Wednesday through to Sunday). Daily starts will be 7am, with Sunday 10am. Position Overview As a Floral Wrapper/Florist in our retail space located in Altona, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and showcasing our beautiful floral offerings. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates of floristry training or current floristry students looking to develop their skills in a dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities Skilfully wrap mixed and single floral bunches, both small and large. Create custom bouquet arrangements tailored to customer specifications. Utilize specialized gift-wrapping materials to enhance presentation. Provide expert advice to customers on floral selections. Merchandize the store to highlight our stunning designs and product quality. Maintain optimal stock levels to ensure a seamless shopping experience. Uphold a safe, clean, and organized working environment in accordance with health and safety regulations. What We're Looking For Ideal candidates will possess the following attributes: Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively without supervision. A commitment to following instructions and procedures. A genuine passion for floral retail and creativity. Strong time management and organizational skills. A robust work ethic and attention to detail. The ability to assess products for quality and freshness. Working Hours Days: Wednesday to Sunday Expected Hours: 25-30 hours per week, starting 7am Wed-Sat & 10am Sun. Why Join Us?
