Overview Join to apply for the Swim Teacher role at Belgravia Leisure QLD, Lawnton Aquatic Centre - Lawnton 4501 Responsibilities Teach effective Swimming and Water Safety to help grow our swim program. Deliver classes in a casual role with mornings, evenings and weekend shifts; be empathetic to the needs of the classes. Engage with students to ensure they gain maximum benefit and enjoyment from the services provided. Qualifications & Skills Energetic, innovative and decisive teaching style Excellent verbal communication skills Understanding of OHS and public safety applications within the facility Ability to work mornings, evenings and weekends and be empathetic to the needs of the classes Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team Current First Aid (Level 2) & Current CPR Certificate Working With Children Check (or equivalent) & National Police Check Current Swim Teacher Certificate Previous experience and success in a comparable role is not essential, but highly regarded The Company Belgravia Leisure is part of the Belgravia Health and Leisure Group (BHLG) and is the fastest growing leisure organisation in Australia.
