About the role Mater Private Hospital Mackay has an exciting opportunity for a Team Leader Supply Chain Operations to join them in a permanent full-time role. The Team Leader Supply Chain Operations is part of a centralised Mater Supply Chain Operations team focused on building collaborative, customer-focused relationships and adopting a business partnering approach. Mater Private Hospital Mackay has been providing excellence in clinical and pastoral care to the people of Mackay and its surroundings since 1927. Located on the northern bank of the Pioneer River since 2003, our hospital is a modern 105-bed facility featuring five operating theatres, a fully equipped day surgery unit, and a wide range of specialist clinical services. Salary range: $34.41 - $35.82 (Admin & Support L4) per hour plus superannuation plus access to generous salary packaging What you'll be doing The Team Leader of Supply Chain Operations is responsible for the team leadership and delivery of regional performance objectives aligned with organisational performance expectations. This role will supervise and support regional teams to adopt new ways of working and standardised processes enabled by technological capability. The Team Leader will operate across supply chain functions to ensure the delivery of seamless service and support to customers. You will also : Lead and supervised a regional team to deliver cohesive, collaborative supply chain operations services to Mater customers, ensuring an outcomes orientation and commitment to achieving performance objectives Oversee operational workflow and ensure regular communication on performance expectations Participate in ongoing stakeholder engagement activities which contribute feedback and insight into regional issues including demand, customer expectations and team Focus on supporting and developing the regional supply chain operations through regular discussions, performance reviews and coaching Actively build awareness and understanding of Mater Group and Mater Health values Adhere to the Supply Chain Operations processes, clinical and professional governance rules for Procurement and Supply Chain Operations About you Demonstrated team leadership experience ideally gained in a large, complex organisation. Must have experience of leading change and be able to demonstrate sound change management capability. Demonstrated experience in supply chain operations, ideally gained in a healthcare organisation, is desirable. Must have a good knowledge and experience of ERP platforms or purchasing and inventory management platforms. Demonstrated IT skills and be able to work with the MS Office suite, online collaboration tools and workflow / project management applications Excellent customer service skills, including the ability to communicate outcomes to deliver client expectations. Must demonstrate initiative and be proactive in communication. Excellent leadership skills and abilities and be able to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders. Must have a strong commitment to working with people to lead and deliver change. Desirable : A Diploma in Purchasing or Inventory Management or equivalent Why join us?
