Mental Health Clinician Location: St Leonards, Northern Sydney Local Health District. Where you'll be working St Leonards What You'll Be Doing The mental health clinician will deliver a high quality, comprehensive mental health service for adults experiencing serious and enduring mental health difficulties. The role involves managing a defined caseload with a focus on working with individuals who experience a complex range of needs and difficulties. Acting as a key member of the multi-disciplinary team, the mental health clinician will provide assessment and evidence based interventions using a collaborative, recovery approach and will be skilled at positive risk management. Working closely in collaboration with carers and families, and liaison with a wide range of agencies is central to the role. People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background encouraged to apply. Candidates Will Need To Meet The Following Criteria AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse, Psychologist, Occupational Therapist or eligibility for membership with AASW. Demonstrated ability to support personal recovery and deliver recovery focused, evidence based interventions. Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and within a multidisciplinary team. Additional Requirements This is a NSW Health Category A position which requires immunisation and screening for certain diseases.
