Experienced Support Worker / High Intensity Support Worker Your Nursing Care PTY LTD – Hervey Bay QLD Your Nursing Care is growing across the Hervey Bay and Maryborough regions, providing high-quality community nursing and home care services for NDIS participants and aged care clients. We are now seeking an experienced Senior Complex Care NDIS Support Worker to join our team. About the Role – Senior Complex Care NDIS Support Worker In this senior role, you will support participants with complex needs in their homes and the community, while also providing leadership, guidance, and mentoring to other support workers. Experience in PEG feeding and hoist transfers (and related manual handling tasks) is highly desirable. Previous experience in a team leader or senior support worker role within care services will be regarded favourably. Key Responsibilities Deliver person-centred support in line with individual support plans and clinical directions Assist with daily living, personal care, and community access Provide companionship and practical support that promotes independence, dignity, and choice Support complex care needs, which may include: Enteral (PEG) feeding Seizure management Medication prompts/administration in line with policy and scope Hoist transfers and safe manual handling Maintain high-quality documentation and progress notes Act as a senior point of contact for complex shifts, modelling best practice and supporting junior staff What We Offer Flexible shifts that support work–life balance Competitive pay rates under the SCHADS Award Ongoing professional development, education, and supervision A supportive, team-driven culture Opportunities to work close to home across the Wide Bay region What We’re Looking For Minimum 2+ years’ experience in disability, complex care, or community support Certificate III/IV in Individual Support, Disability, or Community Care (or equivalent) Demonstrated experience with PEG feeding and hoist transfers Confidence working with high-care and complex NDIS participants Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills Experience in a team lead/senior support worker role in care services (highly desirable) NDIS Worker Screening Check and Blue Card (or willingness to obtain) Current driver’s licence and reliable vehicle How to Apply If you are an experienced NDIS support worker who is passionate about complex care and mentoring others, we would like to hear from you. ****@yournursingcare.com.auFor more information, contact Your Nursing Care on 2*** . #J-18808-Ljbffr
