The successful candidates will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting high-quality meals in line with our venue standards. This role requires strong culinary skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, portion controls, and quality standards. Ensure food is presented in a consistent and appealing manner. Assist with menu development, specials, and seasonal offerings. Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment in compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations. Monitor stock levels, assist with stock rotation, and minimise wastage. Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service. Adhere to workplace health and safety guidelines and venue policies. Support the Head Chef / Venue Manager with kitchen operations as required. Skills & Experience At least 2 years' proven experience as a Chef, Cook, or similar role in a busy kitchen. Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards (Food Safety Certificate desirable). Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high standards. Strong organisational and time-management skills. Creativity and passion for food presentation. Team player with excellent communication skills. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as rostered. Qualifications (desirable but not essential) Certificate III/IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent trade qualification. Current Food Safety Supervisor Certificate. First Aid Certificate Salary between $76,515 - $80,000 will be offered to the successful candidates. Apply now through our online application form.
