About the role As a Surface Device Sales Specialist you will drive sales revenue by creating and managing Microsoft Device opportunities, supporting Account Managers, and collaborating with Insight Sales and Marketing teams. Lead client-facing activities, execute sales strategies, and maintain vendor certification while reporting on pipeline activity and revenue expectations Along the way, you will get to: Attain KPI measurements on sales revenue through creation of new/management of existing Microsoft Device opportunities. Support Account Managers and their customers as a Microsoft Device Champion and Surface specialist/SME Generate new Microsoft Device business with customers/clients by enabling and collaborating with Insight Sales teams, maintaining collateral, and developing the Insight brand pages Collaborate with Marketing teams to create and promote Microsoft Surface marketing assets Liaise with Marketing to report and measure effectiveness of marketing campaigns Lead client facing activities such as webinars, product demos, blogs and educational videos Lead customer workshops and customer immersion experiences Plan and execute sales strategies and initiatives through co-sell with Microsoft Account and Partner teams Report on pipeline activity, revenue expectations/attainment, close dates and critical success factors. Own the device sales cycle and/or tender response Prospect acquisition accounts through direct communication Maintain awareness of competitor activity Be AmbITious: This opportunity is not just about what you do today but also about where you can go tomorrow. We are looking for a Microsoft Device Sales Specialist with the following capabilities: Ideally you are an individual that’s passionate about End User Devices/Computing and have worked for an IT hardware vendor, distributor or reseller for 3 or more years.
