Join to apply for the Project Officer role at Queensland Government. The Project Officer will play a key role in supporting innovative and transformational work within the DFV reform space. Reporting to the Manager and working closely with the Principal Project Officer, the Project Officer will provide technical, administrative and project management support across a range of projects and initiatives relevant to the broader reform scope. This work supports the delivery on a number of high-profile initiatives and commitments, with the potential to contribute meaningful change to the lives of children and young people in residential care and victim-survivors of DFV. Project Support and Delivery Assist in the planning, coordination, and delivery of project activities aligned with broader reform initiatives. Develop and maintain project documentation, including timelines, risk registers, progress reports, and meeting records. Monitor and report on project progress, risks, and issues, escalating as required. Research and analysis Collate and analyse research, data, and other documentation relevant to work initiatives to identify next steps in reform efforts. Support communication with peers and leadership by providing evidence-based insights and recommendations. Prepare high-quality reports, briefings, and recommendations for consideration by the Manager and senior leaders. Stakeholder Engagement Build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support project success. Support stakeholder engagement activities, including co-design workshops and consultation processes. Governance and Compliance Ensure compliance with governance frameworks, policies, and procedures. Contribute to risk management and governance activities for assigned projects. Communication and Reporting Prepare high-quality reports, briefings, and correspondence for consideration by senior officers and leadership. Communicate clearly and effectively with team members and stakeholders. Team collaboration Work collaboratively within a team environment, contributing to a positive and inclusive culture. Actively participate in team meetings, knowledge-sharing activities, and professional development opportunities.
