About the Role As the Retirement Village Manager at Yarra Rossa in Red Hill, you’ll be the driving force behind a vibrant, welcoming community where residents truly feel at home. You’ll lead a dedicated team, ensuring the highest standards of accommodation and support, while building strong, positive relationships with residents. Your days will be filled with variety— from overseeing resident selection and orientation, responding promptly to resident needs, and managing budgets, to organising engaging social activities and ensuring the village runs smoothly and safely. You’ll champion compliance, property maintenance, and community spirit, making Yarra Rossa a wonderful place to live. Responsibilities Lead and manage a dedicated team to provide high‑quality accommodation and support to residents. Oversee resident selection, orientation, and ongoing care needs. Respond promptly to resident needs and on‑site emergencies. Manage budgets, property and tenancy, and staff development. Organise engaging social activities and promote community spirit. About You To be considered, you will have: Advanced Diploma or degree (or equivalent) with at least five years of professional experience. Background in retirement living, hospitality, customer service, or community services. Excellent relationship‑building and customer‑service skills. Strong conflict resolution, time‑management, and people‑management abilities. Demonstrated experience in property and tenancy management, budgeting, and staff development. High‑level computer skills and ability to respond to on‑site emergencies. Understanding of the needs of seniors and commitment to social inclusion. Current driver’s license and valid first‑aid certificate (or willingness to obtain). Genuine alignment with BaptistCare’s mission and values.
