We’ve collaborated with major international clients like Chuck E Cheese, and partnered with leading Australian brands including Milky Lane, Two Fat Indians, Synergy and Ribs Lane. What We Do Social media management, campaign development & content strategy High‑end video production across multiple industries Static and organic content creation Meta ad campaigns, scripting, storyboarding & automation solutions About the Role We’re looking for a forward‑thinking, organised, creative Social Media Manager to join the Pilot Theory team. This is a hands‑on role where you’ll create, plan, and manage social content across multiple brands. You’ll work closely with our production team to turn raw content into engaging posts, manage client socials, build strategic content calendars, and oversee community engagement and performance. Key Responsibilities Focus of the role As part of the role, you'll bring strong visual instincts and design skills to elevate content across all platforms. You’ll work closely with our production team to shape the visual identity of each client and ensure every post feels premium, polished, and on‑brand. Your graphics and content creation responsibilities will include: Designing social media graphics, carousels, and branded templates Creating visually consistent layouts for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok & LinkedIn Working within brand guidelines while helping evolve each client’s visual identity Turning raw assets into scroll‑stopping creative pieces Ensuring all graphics meet platform specifications and maintain high aesthetic standards Collaborating with videographers to pair visuals with strong storytelling Other Responsibilities: Develop monthly content calendars across multiple clients Build social media strategies aligned with client goals Identify content opportunities, trends, and platform updates Work with the production team to guide shoot lists, concepts, and edits Community & Account Management Manage inboxes, comments, and community replies Track performance metrics and prepare monthly reports Liaise directly with clients for approvals, feedback, and updates Ensure all content is consistent with brand voice and objectives Ads Management Plan, create, and manage paid social campaigns across Meta, TikTok, and LinkedIn Set up targeted ad sets and audiences tailored to each client’s objectives Optimise campaigns for performance, lead generation, or engagement Analyse results and provide clear monthly reporting to clients Collaborate with the creative team to develop high‑performing ad creatives Test creatives, copy variations, and audiences for continuous improvement Ensure campaigns remain compliant with platform policies Campaign Support Assist in planning and launching social ad campaigns Support automation setup for content workflows and client approvals About You We aren’t locked into a specific number of years’ experience—your creativity, initiative, and problem‑solving ability matter more. Whether you’ve come from an agency, freelancing, or have managed your own brand, we want to see your work and understand your digital thinking. You’ll ideally have: Proven capability in graphics design or marketing (qualification highly desired but not required) A strong portfolio of social media content you’ve created or managed Solid understanding of Instagram, TikTok, Facebook & LinkedIn best practices Strong copywriting skills and an eye for detail Good time management and organisational ability Confidence in working directly with clients and managing expectation A proactive mindset—always looking for ways to improve performance An eagerness to work within a creative, fast‑moving production team At least 3 years experience in an agency or working for multiple businesses/brands What’s On Offer Work directly with a creative team producing high‑end video content Flexibility Exposure to clients across multiple industries Real responsibility and ownership over accounts Creative freedom, growth opportunities, and the chance to help shape Pilot Theory’s digital department Why Work With Us?
