Description Our client URGENTLY requires a Data Engineer for a 4 months Contract in Canberra. The role of Data Engineer will be responsible for developing Data Products as part of a self-organising team comprising a Product Owner Data Modelling Lead two other Data Engineers Tester / Quality Assurance and Business Analyst focussed on a meta data dictionary. You will collaborate with Product Owner and Data Reference Groups to analyse and understand data requirements and develop high-quality data products aligned to standards (data governance data architecture and security). Skills and Experience required includes : Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. Working knowledge of Python and SQL. Experience of agile and DevOps practices. Experience in PySpark and with health data analysis and engineering would be highly desirable. Government experience would be highly regarded.
