We are a leader in our industry with a footprint spanning Australia and New Zealand. We are in search of an experienced, confident and proactive WHS Specialist with a Return to Work focus. We are highly regarded in our industry for having high quality staff across our network. Main responsibilities: Act as the point of contact for injured staff, managers, medical practitioners, rehabilitation providers and brokers, ensuring clear and timely communication for case progression. Respond to any reported hazards or incidents in Australia and New Zealand, ensuring workplace safety compliance. Complete factual investigation of reported incidents through review of footage, discussion with staff and witnesses present. Support the redeployment of workers into suitable duties when they do not have capacity to immediately return to pre-injury duties. Manage and resolve queries during return to work plans. Maintain all incident records including but not limited to the injury register, worker’s compensation claims tracker, training records and individual case file including footage. Continuous follow up on open cases and their development with a focus on timely return to work to minimise time lost. Develop, review and maintain WHS policies and procedures. Respond to inspections ensuring compliance to WHS laws. Attend all scheduled meetings with case managers, insurance companies, brokers and medical / rehabilitation providers and other internal or external stakeholders as required. Key qualities of successful applicant will include: Verbal and written communication skills must be of a very high standard; High attention to detail, excellent time management, and the ability to multitask and prioritise; Relevant Qualifications / Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Return to Work and WHS role; The ability to work autonomously and within a team; Experience in the Workers Compensation space Benefits: Ongoing Opportunity to Increase Earning Potential On-site Parking Opportunity to own the WHS and Return to Work Space #J-18808-Ljbffr
