Lead Educator (Fixed Term – Maternity Leave) – Follyfoot Farm Juniors by Busy Bees Lead Educator – Follyfoot Farm Juniors by Busy Bees Contract Type: Fixed Term – Maternity Leave Licensed Capacity: 81 places Location: 98–112 Old Chittaway Road, Fountaindale NSW 2258 Hourly Rate : $33.00–$37.54 (WT 4A.1 to 4.3) Follyfoot Farm Juniors by Busy Bees is a welcoming, nature-rich early learning centre with 81 licensed places, located in the beautiful community of Fountaindale, NSW. We are seeking a passionate and experienced Lead Educator to join our team on a fixed-term maternity leave contract. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident educator who thrives in a leadership role and values collaboration, professional growth, and high-quality education. About the Role In this role, you will : Lead the delivery of engaging, play-based programs aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) Mentor and guide educators to ensure high-quality practice Build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues Support and oversee documentation, observations, learning plans, and assessments Maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment Contribute to the service’s ongoing commitment to meeting NQS and Busy Bees quality standards Bring initiative, leadership, and a commitment to continuous improvement What You’ll Need To succeed in this role, you will need : Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (ACECQA-approved) Proven experience in a Lead Educator or senior educator role Valid NSW Working with Children Check (Employee) Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis Child Protection / Mandatory Reporting certification Excellent understanding of EYLF and NQS Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills Australian working rights Key Benefits As a permanent employee on a fixed-term contract, you will enjoy : Hourly Rate : $33.00–$37.54 Up to 50% childcare discount Laundry allowance Uniform allowance Access to the Busy Bees Learning Platform Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Professional development and career progression pathways Opportunities to grow within a global early-learning organisation Why Join Follyfoot Farm Juniors by Busy Bees?
