Business Analyst and QA Lead

This role is responsible for providing business analysis, quality assurance and some project leadership for the Terminal Efficiencies Project. This role is responsible for leading the requirements to test strategy workflow throughout the lifecycle of the project. This role will manage technical deployments of proof of concepts, acceptance criteria, and operational readiness signoff deliverables. This role is also a key contributor to ensure that project technical, business and change solutions meet the needs of the business and is delivered within the acceptance criteria for minimizing operational risk and project postproduction stability.Scope/Tasks:Manage, lead and direct the test strategy workflow and acceptance.Partner with the business and technology groups to elicit, analyze, translate and document business requirements into effective system and technical requirements/specifications that are executable in the test strategy workflow.Support the business strategy and project requirements for the business areas.Oversee and guide the effective transition from projects to sustainment through project management, production turnover, operational readiness and post-production stabilization phases.Oversee end-to-end projects from requirements gathering through to development and delivery.Perform other tasks as required.Experience:In-depth understanding of the various software development lifecycles (e.g. Agile).Experience gathering, documenting and clarifying requirements from multiple stakeholders using best practice methods and tools.Knowledge and/or experience with operational technologies, solution architecture, business process and project management workflows.Experience with business processes, developing/recommending efficiencies and reducing bottlenecks across end to end-cross-departmental processes.Competencies and Skillset:Strong written and verbal communication skills.Strong analytical and facilitation skills.Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical staff and management.Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality standard deliverables.Effective communicator with demonstrated ability to build good working relationships and confidently works to build trust with stakeholders.Proven commitment to quality.Ability to look at the big picture of the overall project and to break tasks down into manageable deliverables.Demonstrated ability to facilitate coordination and cooperation among peers; encourages team to drive for results and meet goals.Seeks to understand business needs, delivering prompt, efficient, quality service, anticipates, identifies end-user needs; drives toward results and ensures high-quality standards are met.Excellent knowledge of real-time operational technology deployment approaches for critical business processes, systems and capabilities.Education:Post-secondary degree or diploma in Computer Science, Business, or an IT-related discipline.Project Management certification would be an asset.Business Analysis, Quality, or Technical certifications would be an asset.For more information about TEEMA and to consider other career opportunities, please visit our website at
