Overview Enrolled Nurse role at Queensland X-Ray in the Townsville region. This is a full-time position in a supportive, fast-paced medical imaging environment where nursing skills are highly valued and continually developed. This is a Monday to Friday role, rostered between 7.6-hour shifts. Following successful completion of a 6-month probation period, Saturday shifts may be required, in line with service requirements. Responsibilities Work under the direct or indirect supervision of a Registered Nurse, providing clinical care and patient support across imaging and procedural services. While full training in Radiology Nursing will be provided, candidates with prior experience of two years or more in a hospital setting are highly regarded. Demonstrate initiative in managing workload, maintain clinical accuracy, and uphold safety standards, with effective documentation and patient-centred care. Remuneration: Classification aligned with Enrolled Nurse Level 3.2 – 3.5, dependent on experience. About You Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse (with medication administration). Minimum 2 years’ recent experience in an acute hospital setting (desirable). Demonstrated IV cannulation skills (on-the-job training provided). Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.
