Key Responsibilities Overseeing the removal and reinstatement of valves and pipe work in accordance with the API standards. Setting and maintaining a high level of safety culture and compliance on site. Coordinate works as per schedule with the need to prioritise critical path works. Supervise the delivery of shutdowns and performance of employees to ensure compliance with the authorised HSE Management Plan, including all relevant systems and procedures contained therein. Provide consistent supervision, direction and support to teams that ensures work is carried out in a safe, efficient and effective manner that meets the client’s needs. Maintain and demonstrate a high level of compliance with all Kaefer systems, policies and procedures in both own performance and that of accountable employees. Develop and maintain effective and professional working relationships with existing and potential clients, as well as other Kaefer divisions, that promotes the business. Qualifications Minimum 3+ years’ experience as a Mechanical Supervisor in shutdowns, maintenance or heavy industry. Mechanical Trade Qualification – Certificate III (mandatory) Basic computer literacy skills to perform essential job functions. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Able to liaise with senior management to pro-actively implement change as necessary to ensure work is completed on time Ability to manage team performance and diverse workforce dynamics Results-driven approach with a commitment to safety and quality.
