Youth Mental Health Clinician – headspace Darwin & Palmerston Full time Salary - $86,866.88 p/a + Super Ongoing professional development and clinical supervision. At Anglicare NT, we deliver quality human services across the Northern Territory with compassion, respect and integrity. Through headspace Darwin and Palmerston, we provide early intervention mental health support to young people and their families; creating safe, inclusive spaces for hope, healing and growth. About the role: As a Youth Mental Health Clinician, you will: Provide screening, assessment, and goal-focused therapeutic interventions for young people. Conduct complex risk assessments and collaborate on safety and care planning. Deliver evidence-based, strengths-focused support that empowers young people and their families. Work closely with a multidisciplinary team and external service providers to ensure seamless care. Participate in outreach, group work and community engagement activities promoting mental health awareness. About you: You’ll bring energy, empathy and professionalism, along with: A tertiary qualification in a health-related discipline (e.g., Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Mental Health Nursing). Current registration or membership with your relevant professional body (AHPRA, AASW, etc.). Experience providing mental health support to young people, including risk assessment and safety planning. A strong understanding of youth mental health, evidence-based interventions, and cultural safety principles. Excellent communication, time management and teamwork skills. Requirements: NT Working with Children Clearance (Ochre Card) and National Police Check. NT Driver’s Licence. Current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
