About headspace headspace are a busy and innovative youth mental health service providing a variety of mental health, medical, sexual and other health related services as well as vocational, functional groups and social services to young people aged 12 to 25 years and their families. About the Opportunity As a Senior Clinician, you’ll provide clinical leadership and direct therapeutic support to young people and their families. You’ll deliver evidence-based interventions, conduct complex risk assessments, and contribute to a recovery-oriented, youth-focused service. Working within a multidisciplinary team, you’ll also support staff through supervision, training, and mentoring, ensuring high-quality care aligned with the Australian Early Psychosis Program (AEPP). To be successful you will have: Approved tertiary qualification in a relevant allied health discipline and current membership with AHPRA, or membership of and adherence to the AASW standards for social workers. Postgraduate qualifications in adolescent mental health or equivalent training preferred. Demonstrated excellent interpersonal and mental health clinical skills in engagement, assessment, holistic treatment provision to young people and families presenting with a range of emotional, social, or developmental difficulties, including psychosis and alcohol and other drug difficulties Demonstrated practice skills in the delivery of CBT for psychosis and other mental health difficulties and supervising staff to deliver therapeutic intervention within a mental health team Ability to work respectfully and collaboratively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people, their families, communities, staff, and Aboriginal controlled organisations Note : The filling of this position is intended to constitute a special/equal opportunity measure under section 8(1) of the Racial Discrimination Act 1975 (Cth), section 57 of the Antidiscrimination Act 1996 (NT) and section 12 of the Equal Opportunity Act 2010.
