Job Description Currently we have an excellent opportunity to deliver specialist community child & adolescent psychiatry across Sydney services. They can offer granted private practice rights allowing you to generate income from treating private patients within the public system. Salary: Up to $550,000 p.a. (£270,000) – inclusive of super, allowance and earnings from private access rights.Position: Consultant – Psychiatrist (CAMHS) CommunityHours: Full-timeSettings: Community clinics and outreach, 0–18 yearsLocation: Sydney, NSW Your key responsibilities will be; Diagnostic assessments, including neurodevelopmental disorders Family-based and brief therapies Shared-care with GPs and paediatrics Complex risk management and escalation MDT leadership and pathway coordination Supervise trainees; contribute to teaching Lead service innovation and evaluation For this role, we’re looking for someone who has MBBS or equivalent registrable with AHPRA Must be on specialist register by CCT and MRCPSYCH Demonstrated leadership in multidisciplinary care Strong community psychiatry experience What benefits are on offer Motor vehicle allowance Professional development allowance Granted private practice rights Protected teaching/research time Supportive multidisciplinary teams Structured clinical governance Sydney metro lifestyle What can Athona offer you?
