About the Role The Workers' Compensation Claims Consultant plays a pivotal role in Telstra's self‑insured Workers' Compensation Claims and Health Management & Rehabilitation Consultants (HMRCs) teams, providing coordinated proactive claims' management services to Telstra employees who are injured at work. The position holder is responsible for end‑to‑end management of a portfolio of claims through: Decision making in accordance with legislative requirements, license performance standards and obligations, internal policies and procedures. Developing outcomes‑focused strategies to drive recovery and sustainable return to work. Collaborating with stakeholders to deliver personalized claims' management strategies with a focus on safe and sustainable outcomes; and Providing a service experience that is tailored, effective and customer focused.
