You will support the implementation of diverse, highly visible initiatives, partnering with teams across Finance, Tax and the broader Macquarie group to develop commercial solutions while managing risk. You will provide valuable insights and recommendations to our stakeholders in relation to the initiatives undertaken. Your responsibilities include overseeing and supporting the implementation of group-wide policies and frameworks within Finance, as well as engaging with internal and external stakeholders on governance and controllership matters. You will be responsible for developing high-quality Board Audit Committee reports, managing direct reports by providing guidance and conducting reviews, and assisting other Finance initiatives in an advisory capacity. Additionally, you will oversee and uplift the Finance control framework to ensure robust financial governance. • A Commerce/Accounting degree and professional accounting qualifications• 5+ years of post-qualification experience, preferably within financial services or professional services• Strong communication skills and demonstrated proactivity, problem solving skills and attention to detail• Experience in managing multiple workstreams collaboratively and autonomously, and prioritising tasks to execute on key deliverables within agreed timeframes• Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills to collaborate with and influence stakeholders across all levels• A self-starter with an adaptable and agile mindset, with a genuine interest in understanding Macquarie’s corporate structure, businesses and operating environment.
