Delivery Lead / Technical Project Manager – Java, Agile, Cloud Location – Sydney, Australia Job type – Permanent/Contract Job Role Overview: Technical Project Manager/Delivery Lead We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager with 10–12 years of experience to lead and deliver complex software projects. The ideal candidate will manage a medium‑sized team of 30–40 developers and testers, possess strong project management skills, and have hands‑on expertise in Java‑based application development. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring successful delivery of projects by coordinating across teams, managing timelines, and maintaining quality standards. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Key Responsibilities Define project scope, objectives, deliverables and oversee end‑to‑end delivery Create detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget Manage and mentor a team of 30–40 developers and testers Provide hands‑on guidance in Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices Communicate effectively with clients, business analysts, and senior management Ensure adherence to delivery timelines and quality benchmarks Manage stakeholder expectations and provide regular updates Drive continuous improvement in delivery processes Ensure compliance with security, performance, and quality standards Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science or related field 10–12 years in software development and project management Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Framework, Hibernate, RESTful services Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices Expertise in Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools like JIRA, Confluence, MS Project Excellent leadership, communication, and problem‑solving abilities Preferred Certifications AWS/Azure certifications (optional) Why Us We are one of the fastest‑growing large tech companies in the world, with offices in 50+ countries across the globe and 219,000 employees.
