Working under the direction of a Registered Nurse, the role focuses on delivering person-centered care to residents, supporting their physical and emotional wellbeing, and collaborating with families and the multidisciplinary team. Provide clinical interventions and support within enrolled nurse scope. Ensure resident care plans meet changing needs and preferences, including cultural and spiritual considerations. Promote resident choice, independence, and meaningful daily activities. Monitor and report changes in resident health; maintain accurate documentation. Support infection control, medication administration, and workplace safety. Guide Care Partners and collaborate with multidisciplinary staff. Contribute to care plan reviews, continuous improvement initiatives, and compliance with Accreditation and AN-ACC standards. Undertake ongoing professional development as required by AHPRA. Knowledge of Aged Care Quality Standards, relevant legislation, and AN-ACC. Proficiency in relevant IT applications. Essential Competencies & Attributes: Strong clinical and care skills appropriate for an Enrolled Nurse. Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication. Flexible team player contributing positively to the workplace. Commitment to ongoing professional development. Customer-focused and empathetic approach to aged care. Ability to relate positively with residents, showing understanding and respect.
