Key Responsibilities Deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy to infants, children, and adolescents. Conduct assessments using tools such as CELF-5 and PLS-5 & reports. Write NDIS Reports as needed. Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team of psychologists and occupational therapists. Create engaging, play‑based sessions and contribute to program and resource development. Provide therapy in‑clinic. Write high‑quality reports and manage your caseload effectively. Commit to ongoing professional learning and best‑practice approaches. Follow our amazing policies and procedures. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Speech Pathology from an accredited institution. Certified Practising Speech Pathologist (CPSP) with Speech Pathology Australia. Demonstrated experience with developmental conditions such as autism, ADHD and speech and language conditions including feeding, swallowing, literacy, articulation, and all the things that speechies do Proficiency in NDIS and Medicare systems. Strong knowledge of early childhood development and school support systems. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Blue Card, NDIS Worker Screening, Police Check, First Aid Certificate, and Driver’s Licence (or willingness to obtain). Australian citizenship permanent residency, or valid work visa with unrestricted work rights. This is a permanent, full‑time role based in our fully equipped and well‑resourced clinic at Springwood (QLD). We also offer flexible work‑from‑home opportunities, so you can complete reports or session preparation in a way that supports your workflow and wellbeing. You’ll have full‑time administrative support to ensure you can focus on what you do best: helping clients thrive. Professional Development We believe strongly in investing in our early‑career clinicians. During your first year under the New Grad program it is important you continue to develop your skills and knowledge. To help you, you will receive: Weekly Supervision. This consists of approx. fortnightly Supervision with a Paid External Senior Speech & Language Therapist (you choose) for the 12 months. Approximately, 20 sessions with an external supervision × up to the value $230 per session = $ . Fortnightly in‑house Peer Supervision with our amazing Speech and Language Pathologist. 24 sessions × $200 = $4800 As a new graduate, we provide a higher PD budget for the first year. This is to ensure you are up‑skill when it is most important. During your first 12 months an additional budget of up to $2000 (FTE) annual professional development is provided for you to continue your learning with additional PD leave (on top of annual and sick leave) for you to attend (up to 4 days). This is in addition to the supervision costs. Your caseload will be busy, but manageable. We will schedule administration time directly into your calendar so you can stay prepared, complete reports, and keep notes up to date. To make life easier, you’ll also have access to: A comprehensive library of templates, speech and language tools, and clinical resources, Ipad A well‑stocked games room and dedicated speech resources A fully equipped sensory gym Team Events/Team Fun - Every few months we do something fun, some of our past team events have included desserts masterclasses, Thai cooking masterclass, team retreats (O'Reilly's, Cedarcreek), escape rooms, paint and sip, bridge climb (& we have lost track). In‑house events, we often order takeaway, team potlucks, or fun things including scary movie night and other social events.
