Lead the Performance and Strategy for assigned Hotels Are you an experienced hotel investment or asset management professional ready to take the lead in one of Australia's most dynamic investment management firms? Salter Brothers is seeking a Hotel Asset Manager to drive the performance, strategy, and grow valuation for assigned hotels. In this senior role, you will assume responsibility for asset strategy, operational performance, capital planning, and operator management—ensuring optimal operational performance and exceptional returns for our investors. You'll also work closely with our Development and Funds Management teams to execute on strategic goals and objectives. What You'll Do : Lead the end-to-end asset management strategy for a designated portfolio of hotels. Develop and implement value‑add CapEx initiatives and reinvestment strategies. Drive operator performance and revenue growth through hands‑on engagement. Oversee and undertake budgeting, forecasting, valuations, profit and loss analysis, and KPI benchmarking. Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks related to the hotels within the portfolio. Manage key risks, insurance processes and contracts. Coach and influence Hotel General Managers on asset strategy and performance. Integrate environmental and sustainability factors into investment strategies and operational performance. Contribute to broader team leadership and cross‑functional collaboration. What You'll Bring : 5+ years of senior‑level experience in hotel asset management, investment, or operations. Proven ability to lead strategy, operations, and financial performance for hospitality assets. Deep understanding of Hotel Management Agreements (HMAs) and operator relations. Strong commercial acumen, leadership skills, and stakeholder engagement ability. Knowledge of Australian hotel, real estate and financial markets. A hands‑on, detail‑oriented approach with a focus on results and value creation. Tertiary qualifications in Business, Finance, Engineering, Hospitality, or related field. Why Salter Brothers?
