Senior Project Officer – Workforce Mobility Placement Programme Your role will be a senior project officer in the Workforce Mobility Placement (WMP) leadership team within the Workforce Planning branch of Premier’s Department NSW. You will support the delivery and continual improvement of the WMP Program, which connects NSW Government employees impacted by organisational change with new employment opportunities across the public sector. About the Role In this leadership and operational role you will manage and deliver mobility‑related programs and projects end‑to‑end, build collaborative stakeholder relationships across the state government system, and use data‑driven insights to drive program improvements. The position leads from the front and works with senior leaders to support system upgrades and change initiatives. Responsibilities Deliver project and program work through all lifecycle stages, ensuring timely and high‑quality outcomes. Enhance processes to improve placement outcomes and stakeholder experience. Prepare briefs and advice for senior leaders, including data‑driven risk and trend analysis. Build and maintain trusted relationships with HR, operational teams and senior leaders across government. Collaborate cross‑functionally to support system upgrades and organisational change initiatives. Lead continuous improvement activities across mobility related functions. Qualifications & Experience Project management experience leading all stages of project lifecycles, ideally in government or large organisations. Solid knowledge of mobility or recruitment processes in complex organisations. Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills, able to interpret data, identify trends and recommend practical solutions. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience preparing clear briefs and reports for senior stakeholders. Ability to build trusted relationships and influence across HR, operational teams and senior leaders. Adaptability, initiative and independence in managing competing priorities. Salary Clerk Grade 9/10. Package includes base salary (A$129,464 – A$142,665) plus superannuation (12%) and leave loading.
