Graduate Account Manager

We currently have a vacancy for a permanent full‑time Graduate Account Manager to join our Melbourne sales team. This position is focused on providing superior service to a range of customers, delivering on product distribution, execution of promotions to drive sales, as well as the ability to think outside the square and develop and implement promotional plans. You will have the ability to influence, come up with new ideas and drive innovation while working for a market leader. If you are a graduate with a food science, commerce degree or similar and think you might be interested in Sales this is the role for you Our ideal candidate has: A tertiary qualification (bonus if its food related) Strong initiative and aptitude Clear written and verbal communication The ability to handle pressure A good attitude and is a strong team player Energy, motivation and integrity Excellent time management skills – you will need to follow a call cycle Confidence, and outgoing Your role will involve developing new business, as well as assisting with existing customers so you will need to be confident and have the ability to relate and communicate with business owners and purchasing staff. The ability to work autonomously is important. You will need to be disciplined, well organised and proactive and must demonstrate a willingness and commitment to do what it takes to get the results. There will be good long‑term prospects to advance up the company ranks for the successful candidate if they excel, and they will get the financial rewards to match their success. This is a full‑time permanent position.
