Join a passionate team of 40 media professionals, as you learn and grow within a thriving agency. Enigma Media is also part of an 80+ staff full‑service agency with media, strategy, branding, design and production all in‑house. Our Newcastle office is Enigma Media HQ but with offices in Sydney and Brisbane we stay connected to the media industry across Australia. Our centralised media teams plan and buy all media channels nationally across our diverse client base. Great client service is the most important thing at Enigma Media. In this role, you will need to build strong relationships with your clients and have a high standard of communications skills and media knowledge. You will be responsible for the day‑to‑day leadership of your accounts and your team and you won’t be afraid to roll up your sleeves. You’ll be fiercely protective of the work and humble and approachable to work with. If you have media agency experience and keen to develop your traditional and digital media skills across all areas of client service, strategy, media planning and implementation this role is for you. Ideally, you will have experience in both digital and traditional media, with a solid understanding around digital strategy. You will understand the core principles around executing a full funnel, brand led or response‑based campaign. You will develop and confidently present media strategies, channel recommendations, measurement frameworks, and key channel metrics and goals. From a media planning perspective, you will be able to present media recommendations that deliver on a client’s communication tasks by analysing the audience, their behaviours and media consumption and by recommending the right mix of channels. You will be able to turn these recommendations into actionable media plans that your team will buy, implement, track, learn and optimise. We use all of the standard media agency tools such as SpectraMD and Roy Morgan Asteroid. For digital campaigns we work with tools such as the Google Marketing Platform and use Datorama for reporting. An understanding of these platforms and many more will become crucial as you will be leading a team who will be managing the planning, buying, trafficking and reporting of traditional and digital media campaigns across TV, outdoor, radio, print, social media, digital display, video, native and search marketing. We are looking for someone who truly wants to be a part of the growth of our agency. You will have senior support assisting you in your role and ensuring you are growing as well. An ambitious and dynamic media all‑rounder, with a min of 4 years’ experience in previous media agency roles. A master of both traditional and digital media planning and buying. A conceptual thinker, who can think outside the box. A leader that can drive projects, produce results and work well under pressure. Interested in the changing media landscape.
