About the Role Datacom works with organisations and communities across Australia and New Zealand to make a difference in people’s lives and help organisations use the power of tech to innovate and grow. This contract role is part of our Microsoft 365 Centre of Excellence. You will design, build, and support end‑to‑end solutions for our customers, troubleshoot technical issues, and deliver a first‑class experience for consumers of our Intelligent Workplace services. Our offices are based in Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Melbourne, Perth, and Sydney. The role offers flexible work arrangements. Key Responsibilities Analyse business requirements and develop solutions design documents, recommendation reports, and systems as‑built documentation. Facilitate customer workshops and presentations, providing thought leadership. Provide technical leadership for Microsoft 365 environments and solutions. Build, deploy, and migrate solutions within the Microsoft 365 platform, including SharePoint Online, Teams, Power Automate, and Power Apps. Lead Microsoft 365 migration projects from legacy systems. Facilitate training workshops and develop training materials. Follow best practice methodologies and adhere to recognised ITIL processes (e.g., Change/Release). Governance and support for Microsoft 365 environments. Qualifications Required experience: Experience as a Microsoft 365 Consultant in an ICT professional services organisation. Designing, building, and deploying SharePoint Online, Teams, and Power Platform solutions. Experience migrating content into Microsoft 365. Strong presentation skills and experience running workshops. Ability to solve complex business problems with M365‑based solutions. Experience designing and implementing enterprise information architecture. Analytical and problem‑solving skills. Developing Power Automate workflows and Power Apps. Excellent documentation and communication skills. Extensive knowledge of SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive. Experience with PowerShell scripts. Nice to have: Custom solutions with SharePoint Framework (SPFx), JavaScript, C#, HTML/CSS. Information management and protection (Microsoft Purview). Custom integrations.
