Primary Purpose As a Rehabilitation Consultant, you will be at the heart of empowering workers to recover and transition back into employment. Working across personal injury insurance schemes, your role will involve coaching, supporting, and guiding workers to overcome barriers, achieve their goals, and return to meaningful work. Day to day As a Rehabilitation Consultant at IOH, you will manage your own portfolio of clients with independence and flexibility, delivering tailored return-to-work services to support injured individuals in achieving their recovery goals. You will work closely with employers to secure suitable employment opportunities while conducting detailed transferable skills analysis, labour market research, and earning capacity assessments. Your role will also involve preparing for and leading medical case conferences, ensuring clear and effective communication of outcomes. By identifying barriers to recovery, you will implement SMART goal strategies to overcome challenges and promote positive outcomes. Maintaining high-quality communication with all stakeholders, including clients, employers, treatment providers, insurers, and legal representatives, will be central to your success in this role. Important Information To be eligible for this position, you must be a Provisional or Registered Psychologist or Rehabilitation Counsellor, with current registration or full membership with AHPRA or ASORC.
