The role The Head of Service Learning reports to the Head of Social Impact and is a key member of the Pymble Institute team. This role is responsible for co‑leading and implementing the design and delivery of the College’s service initiatives — including curriculum‑embedded service learning — in alignment with the College’s Service Framework. The position oversees multiple projects that collectively create a meaningful and sequential series of service experiences for students across the Junior, Middle, Upper and Senior Schools. These projects are developed collaboratively with students, staff and external partners, including the Uniting Church, and are designed to reflect the interests, developmental stages and opportunities relevant to each age group. The College is committed to fostering community engagement and encourages parents and carers to participate in service activities alongside their daughters. As such, strong communication and relationship‑building skills are essential. Curriculum‑based service learning projects will be co‑designed with relevant Heads of Learning Areas, guided by the College’s Teaching and Learning Framework. This opportunity will suit teachers with a passion for service learning, or an individual with experience in the not‑for‑profit, education or corporate sectors who has successfully designed, coordinated and delivered service or volunteer programs.
