About the Company Davidson Technology is working with a large Federal Government Agency to secure a Principal Dynamics CRM Developer for an initial 12‑month contract, with the possibility of further extensions. About the Role As the Principal Dynamics CRM Developer, you will deliver advanced solutions within Dynamics 365, leveraging C#, JavaScript, and client‑side scripting to build custom plugins, workflows, and web resources. You will design and configure entities, forms, views, dashboards, and business process flows while integrating Dynamics with external systems through APIs, web services, Azure Logic Apps, Power Automate, or custom‑built connectors. With proficiency in PowerApps and Power BI, you will extend platform capabilities and deliver impactful data visualisations to support decision‑making. You will manage database operations in SQL Server, oversee deployment strategies and version control using Azure DevOps or GitHub, and ensure secure, user‑friendly solutions by applying Dynamics 365 security models and UX design principles. Additionally, you will troubleshoot and optimise solutions using tools such as XrmToolBox, ensuring scalable, high‑quality solutions that align with business needs and enterprise standards. About You We are looking for a technical leader who can guide multiple squads, driving high‑quality development, integration and automation within the Dynamics 365 platform. You should have deep expertise in C#, JavaScript and Dynamics 365 modules, and be able to deliver hands‑on development of plugins, workflows, extensions and integrations while ensuring architectural alignment. You will mentor and support developers, review technical designs, and foster consistency across teams while collaborating closely with solution architects, business analysts and project managers. You will be highly skilled in PowerApps, Power BI, Power Automate, SQL Server and Azure services, extending platform capabilities and enhancing usability through UX design principles, integrating Dynamics with external systems via APIs and third‑party tools. You will also manage deployment pipelines, version control and release processes using Azure DevOps or GitHub, provide production support through issue triage and resolution, and oversee security roles and profiles to maintain a robust and scalable environment. You must be an Australian Citizen with the ability to obtain security clearance to be considered. The Benefits You will be offered a 12‑month contract (possible extension), an excellent daily rate and the ability to negotiate a flexible working arrangement for the duration of the assignment.
