Policy and Process Development Lead – Service Delivery We’re looking for a Policy & Process Development Lead to help shape the way our service delivery teams work. Reporting to the Service Quality and Compliance Manager, you’ll be the go‑to expert for designing, building, and rolling out policies, procedures, and resources that are practical, usable, and future‑ready. This position is full‑time, fixed term for a duration of 2 years based at Rise’s head office in Middle Swan (Helen’s Place) with work‑from‑home flexibility. What you’ll do Lead policy and process improvement: Analyse how things are currently done, spot the gaps (and the duplicates), and recommend smarter ways of working Advise managers and subject matter experts on policy and procedure requirements Create clear, consistent documentation in formats people actually want to use Keep our work aligned with legislation, standards, and our controlled document framework Be a champion for change: Define what’s changing and why it matters in plain language Work closely with teams to build understanding and buy‑in Keep everyone informed with timely, transparent messaging Support staff with the tools and training they need Gather feedback and adjust the approach where needed Help embed new practices so they become the everyday standard What you’ll bring A track record of developing high‑quality policies, procedures, and resources Strong research skills and a sharp analytical mind Experience translating complex information into fit‑for‑purpose documents Confidence learning new and complex topics quickly Change management experience that leads to lasting results The ability to influence, collaborate, and keep multiple priorities moving at once Excellent communication skills and attention to detail Advanced Microsoft Office and SharePoint capability Insight into the not‑for‑profit human services sector (not essential but warrants bonus points) Formalities (The serious stuff) Appointments to this position will be subject to a national police clearance.
