We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Specialist Concussion Physiotherapist to join our dynamic rehabilitation team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and developing treatment plans for individuals experiencing sports-related concussion symptoms. This role requires a strong understanding of concussion management, effective communication skills, and a commitment to improving patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients with concussion-related symptoms. Develop and implement individualized rehabilitation programs based on evidence-based practices. Design, develop and implement a concussion protocol for use across the entire organisation which encapsulates not only sports specific rehabilitation elements but also the most up to date research. Educate patients and their families about concussion management, recovery strategies, and return-to-activity guidelines. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including elite medical teams , recruiters, neurologists, general practitioners, and other rehabilitation professionals, to ensure holistic patient care. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed. Stay updated with the latest research and best practices in concussion management. Establish an education platform for use to educate clinicians, players, parents, sporting organisations and government bodies. Provide training and support for staff and athletes regarding concussion awareness and management protocols. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and progress. Participate in community outreach and educational programs related to concussion prevention and management. #J-18808-Ljbffr
