We are seeking a Service Assistant to join our growing team. This role supports our service department in delivering high-quality maintenance, breakdown response, and customer support. You’ll work closely with our Service Coordinator, technicians, and customers to ensure smooth operations, accurate documentation, and efficient communication across all service activities. Key Responsibilities Assist the Service Coordinator with daily scheduling, dispatching, and job tracking Prepare service reports, quotes, and invoices using our job management software (Simpro) Support technicians with parts ordering, warranty claims, and asset register updates Communicate with customers regarding job updates, site access, and service confirmations Maintain accurate records of equipment details, photos, and maintenance logs Help manage preventative maintenance schedules and compliance reporting (including HACCP and energy efficiency data) Liaise with suppliers to follow up on deliveries, stock levels, and warranty returns Contribute to improving internal systems, service workflows, and documentation consistency Skills and Experience Strong organisational and administrative skills with attention to detail Excellent communication and customer service skills Previous experience in a service-based or trade support role (HVAC, plumbing, or electrical preferred) Computer literacy with job management systems (Simpro experience highly regarded) Basic understanding of refrigeration, HVAC, or building services terminology an advantage Ability to work under pressure and prioritise multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment What We Offer A professional and supportive team environment Opportunities for training and career development within the refrigeration/HVAC industry Competitive remuneration based on experience #J-18808-Ljbffr
