The Role Baldivis SC is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic leader to join the leadership team as Program Coordinator – Technologies. As a key member of the school’s Leadership Team, the successful applicant will provide curriculum leadership in Technologies and collaborate with fellow Program Coordinators and School Administrators to implement the Western Australian Curriculum. The successful applicant should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and provide professional leadership to teachers and other staff members in curriculum matters. Ideally the successful applicant has had experience and success across a diverse range of Technologies contexts. The ability to analyse student performance data and use this in planning is highly desirable. The Program Coordinator will ideally be responsible for the annual reflection, review and operational planning cycle. They will lead the Professional Learning Community across their learning area. Staff should engage in reflective practice, informed by a close examination of student performance data and respond with relevant improvement plans. Our dedication to enhancing student outcomes is rooted in the comprehensive integration of Advancement Via Individual Determination (AVID) tried-and-true teaching methods and best practices across all academic disciplines at our college. Our entire instructional staff incorporates AVID strategies, along with other effective teaching techniques and 21st‑century tools, to foster both post‑school preparedness and enhanced academic achievements for all students. The successful applicant should have high expectations of self and students, be able to ensure a productive and positive learning environment and cultivate and sustain strong relational connections in every classroom.
