We have five iconic Sydney and two breath-taking Canberra venues featuring water views and fine dining experiences. Due to the continued growth of our business, we have an opportunity to join our event coordination team, based in Mosman at Sergeants' Mess (parking provided). About the job The roleis primarily responsible for the event coordination ofwedding receptions and ceremonies, along with corporate events and social celebrations, with an average of 4-5 events per week for you to individually coordinate. Reporting to the Venue Sales Manager, this role will see you involved in all aspects ofevent management. As a clients main point of contact, your focus is to ensure the experience is impressive and delivered with care. For many the experience of planning a wedding or special event is daunting and filled with emotion - so being of immediate assistance, with all the answers through the process is your priority. Having the ability to calm nerves, never miss a detail and add some fun and flair along the way will all be essential Working with our Venue Sales Manager and other Coordinators, your daily focus will be, however not limited to: Full venue event coordination and client servicing (including event file updates, floor plan design and guest list management) Conducting site inspections Converting these inspections into bookings This role is full time (non-negotiable), Tuesday to Saturday (non-negotiable), preferably with an immediate start. The successful candidate will need to ensure they have the ability to work some Mondays throughout the year, in order to allow roster swaps with their co-workers.
