Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Restoration Technician, based in Earlville, QLD. The Restoration Technician will be responsible for assisting with the remediation and restoration of properties affected by water, fire, and other forms of damage. Day-to-day tasks include site assessments, removal of damaged materials, cleaning and decontamination, operation of specialized restoration equipment, and ensuring compliance with safety and industry standards. The role also involves liaising with clients to provide updates on restoration progress and maintaining detailed project documentation. Qualifications Technical skills in operating restoration and decontamination equipment, understanding of IICRC S500 and S520 standards Knowledge of mould remediation, water extraction, and fire restoration techniques Attention to detail, time management, and ability to document project progress accurately Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members Physical fitness and the ability to work in challenging environments safely A valid driver's license and the ability to travel to various site locations Prior experience in restoration or a related field is advantageous Training or certification in restoration techniques or any related area is beneficial Seniority level Entry level Employment type Other Industries Specialty Trade Contractors #J-18808-Ljbffr
