A bit about your role The role requires skills to work through a mix of internal and external workforces and build and maintain essential relationships with internal and external stakeholders. The successful candidate is someone who can efficiently function in ambiguity and advocates for all field workforces to drive better practices and quality & safety standards with a heavy focus on continuous improvement. You will be responsible for all field activities across network and service elements related to the day-to-day operation of the NBN Co network. Role Overview Provide daily supervision to ensure technicians have the right tools, testing equipment, materials and skills to complete tasks Assist field technicians and coach them to improve performance, quality and customer experience Liaise with the Area Manager and field workforce to resolve customer complaints promptly Manage work progress across multiple sites in coordination with project staff to meet client expectations within time, budget, safety, environmental and quality requirements To thrive in this role you’ll have Proven experience leading operational or engineering teams in service delivery or restoration Knowledge of FFTP and FTTN plus ACMA Open Cabling Registration Working at Heights EWP and Power Awareness (or willingness to obtain) Strong leadership with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Commitment to safety and compliance with the ability to foster a safety-first culture Confidence engaging with senior leaders, delivery partners and field managers Problem‑solving mindset and relationship‑building skills Ability to manage workforce performance to meet KPIs and SLAs Flexibility to travel as required to support your team Must have full working rights in Australia.
