Established more than twenty years ago, this customer has become a very successful quiet achiever in the Commercial Interior fit‑out industries, focusing mainly on healthcare‑related clients such as solutions for doctors, dentists, optometrists and vets. They specialise in designing and delivering Health/Medical projects ranging in value from $50 K to $500 K, across all states of Australia, working nationally with private and public sector clients such as Medicare, private health fund providers, and animal welfare groups. Due to increased workload from repeat customers, they are looking for an experienced and proactive Pre‑Construction Coordinator / Contracts Administrator / Bid Coordinator to assist the National Pre‑construction Manager in delivering tenders and projects within time, cost and quality. Key Responsibilities Assist the National Pre‑construction Manager in delivering tenders and projects within time, cost and quality. Compile and lodge paperwork to obtain statutory approvals for projects from councils, private certifiers and other regulators. Follow up and chase approvals through councils, body corporations, health boards and design professionals. Handle multiple projects simultaneously in various stages of design and delivery. Meet with trades on site to carry out inspections and report findings to senior management. Scope works, negotiate supplier and subcontractor agreements when required. Identify potential delays and report them to senior management. Qualifications and Skills Excellent oral and written communication skills. Unrestricted work rights in Australia. Proactive organisation skills and the ability to be focused on following up approvals. At least one to three years of experience as a Contracts Administrator undertaking similar projects. Up‑to‑date experience on Procore, Cheops, Jobpac, Aconex, MS Office, Nexvia, Hammertech or similar. Trade or academic background. Checkable references. Neat and tidy personal presentation as you will be dealing directly with clients in the medical profession. Remuneration will be in line with experience. Interested?
