## Job Description:**• Temporary Full-Time Position – 12-Month Fixed Term** **• Fitzroy Location** **• Senior Leadership Opportunity** **• Flexible Working Arrangements Available****About the Role** We are seeking an experienced and motivated clinician to lead the prosthetic service at one of Melbourne’s leading tertiary hospitals. In this temporary leadership role, you will oversee the delivery of expert clinical care for amputees accessing services at St Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne (SVHM).### **Key Responsibilities*** Manage a complex inpatient and outpatient prosthetic caseload across all amputation levels, including hands-on technical work as required* Provide clinical leadership, supervision and support to clinicians, technicians, administrative staff and students* Contribute as part of the department leadership team, supporting the Chief Prosthetist/Orthotist in operational management and service delivery* Lead and participate in service planning, education, quality improvement and strategic initiatives### ### **About You*** Bachelor of Prosthetics and Orthotics (or equivalent)* Eligibility for Australian Orthotic Prosthetic Association membership* Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)* Extensive clinical experience providing prosthetic care for amputees* Leadership skills to support required responsibilities* Experience delivering services as a National Disability Insurance Scheme provider**What we offer*** A focus on wellbeing initiatives, with regular events and programs* Confidential, solutions-focused employee counselling* A healthy work/life balance encouraged.
