Where appropriate they add third‑party solutions to increase functionality to the overall solution. Their focus is to have satisfied customers wanting to and using their products and services. Role Overview They wish to recruit a Dev/Ops Engineer whose focus is to design and deliver automation projects within the DevOps Team. You will work alongside senior Dev/Ops engineers, software engineers, business analysts, technical leaders and other stakeholders providing DevOps expertise. Up to 70-80% of your time will be scripting for system configuration + some design work – coding, testing, deploy. Qualifications & Experience The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in a DevOps role with: Solid understanding of programming concepts and experience developing in languages such as Python, Ruby, or Golang (preferably Python). Production experience with container technologies e.g. Docker, Kubernetes. Skills and experience with CI/CD systems and processes e.g. Gitlab, Jenkins, Bamboo (preferably Gitlab). Production experience with automation tools e.g. Puppet, Ansible, Chef (preferably Puppet). Experience managing large‑scale VMware, Linux and Windows environments. Experience managing network switching, routing and firewalling. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
