We’re now looking for a full-time Maintenance Fitter to join our team at the Material Recovery Facility (MRF) . You’ll be part of an inclusive, supportive, and diverse team working on the afternoon shift (10pm–6am) , with overtime available as required. About the Role In this hands‑on role, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and reliability of plant equipment by performing both preventative and reactive maintenance tasks, including welding when required during downtime. Key Responsibilities Perform preventative maintenance on plant machinery, conveyors and equipment (primarily on conveyors) Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve mechanical faults efficiently Proactively identify and implement process and equipment improvements Follow all safety regulations, report safety hazards, unsafe practices, and report any near‑miss incidents Communicate effectively with internal management and team members About you Previous experience in maintenance fitting within waste management/recycling, FMCG, food production, manufacturing or heavy industrial Flexibility to work weekends as required for maintenance day (downtime).
