Aged Care Angels and Disability Services Pty Ltd – Nelson Bay NSW We are seeking a Rostering Officer to join our head office team in Nelson Bay. This is a Part Time job share position. Immediate Start | Nelson Bay About the role Hours: Thursdays & Fridays, 8:00am – 4:30pm (16 hours per week) Pay: $38-$43 per hour Additional duties: Rostered on‑call / after‑hours phone including weekends, compensated at different rates Flexibility: Required to cover holidays and sick leave for the other Rostering Clerk Knowledge of our rostering system SHIFTCARE will be highly regarded Key Responsibilities Coordinate daily and weekly care schedules for participants/clients Respond quickly and empathetically to scheduling changes, call‑outs, and emergencies Ensure rosters meet participants/clients needs, staff availability, and compliance requirements Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date records in the scheduling system Communicate effectively between clients, caregivers, and management Handle last‑minute changes and multiple updates with confidence Match the right staff member to each participant/client's individual needs, goals, and routines We'd love you to have Experience rostering and scheduling staff to achieve client outcomes High- level computer skills with experience using Microsoft Outlook Strong organisational and problem‑solving skills Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with care workers in the field Ability to work collaboratively as part of a small office team Current NDIS Worker Screening Check and NDIS Module (or willingness to obtain) Current Australian Federal Police Check (or willingness to obtain) Permanent Australian residency Current Australian Driver’s Licence Highly regarded but not essential Experience with NDIS and Aged Care The Organisation Aged Care Angels and Disability Services provides personalised, flexible care and support to enable people to live independently in their own home.
