Volunteer Position: Spanish-speaking Aged Care Visitor Do you speak Spanish? Your time and friendship could mean the world to an older person in your community. We are looking for friendly volunteers to visit Spanish‑speaking people living in aged care in Roxburgh Park. Visits may involve chatting, playing cards, helping with an activity or going for a short walk. Responsibilities Bring happiness through regular visits, providing companionship and support to older individuals. Qualifications Friendly, kind and willing to commit to bringing happiness through regular visits. Comfortable interacting with people who experience the ups and downs that come with the ageing process. Details Category: Seniors & Aged Care Commitment: Regular – more than 6 months Type of Work: Companionship & Social Support, Seniors & Aged Care Time Required: One hour, fortnightly visits at a time that suits you. Training: Self‑paced online induction training provided (approximately 1 hour). The Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme (ACVVS) is funded by the Australian Government and delivered by MS Plus.
