Base pay range A$200,000.00 per year - A$220,000.00 per year I’m pleased to introduce a newly created Finance Business Partner opportunity within a major Australian organisation embarking on a greenfield Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (FinOps) implementation. This role sits at the intersection of Finance, Technology, and Transformation — acting as the conduit between the CFO & Financial Controller , the PMO , and the Microsoft Partner delivering the program. You’ll play a pivotal part in shaping how Finance engages with technology — reviewing solutions, participating in discovery and roadmap sessions, and helping define how Dynamics 365 FinOps is configured to support business outcomes best. Beyond the numbers, you’ll be the internal voice of reason and enthusiasm , championing change and inspiring the Finance team to embrace new ways of working. Key Focus Areas: Partner with the CFO, Financial Controller, PMO, and Microsoft Partner to drive the Dynamics 365 FinOps implementation Lead solution reviews, discovery workshops, and finance process mapping Translate technical design into clear business understanding and outcomes Champion change management and training initiatives within Finance Ensure business readiness, adoption, and alignment with project milestones Support project governance, reporting, and continuous improvement You’ll bring: Proven experience as a Finance Business Partner, Finance Systems Lead , or similar role in ERP transformation Deep understanding of Finance processes (GL, AR, AP, budgeting, forecasting, reporting) Experience within Microsoft Dynamics 365 FinOps (or other ERP platforms) Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills A proactive, energetic mindset — comfortable bridging Finance and Technology Availability to work onsite 4 days per week in Western Sydney CPA or CA qualification (or equivalent Accounting degree) This is a rare opportunity to step into a career-defining transformation, working on a greenfield Dynamics 365 FinOps implementation that will reshape how Finance operates across the organisation.
