Role We are looking for a Field Sales Manager to join our Queensland Sales Team in a full‑time position. You will motivate and inspire your team, set clear performance expectations, and drive sales results in line with AMES’ growth strategy. Responsibilities Ensure achievement of budgeted territory sales growth targets on a State basis. Lead the team and develop/maintain excellent professional relationships with all members. Drive incremental sales initiatives and further grow the existing sales base. Maintain and enhance relationships with all major customers. Manage weekly sales reporting to the Sales Manager. Coordinate and participate in scheduled State Sales/Ops meetings. Ensure effective and responsible use of all company‑issued resources, including vehicle, credit card, mobile phone and IT equipment. Skills and Attributes Demonstrated experience as a sales manager at a state level. Leads own workload while working across multiple teams. High level of commercial acumen and awareness. Product knowledge in garden/home & landscaping hardware consumer products is beneficial. Experience with Salesforce is advantageous. Superior influencing and expert negotiation skills. Strong team‑management skills. Sound decision maker. Results‑driven mindset. Intermediate skills with Microsoft products and other information systems.
