Carry out personal risk assessment, hazard identification and other safety requirements relevant to the role. Operate plant and equipment used in an underground mining environment. Operate vehicles both underground and surface. Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a secure working environment. Hazard and safety awareness and report any potential hazards to relevant personnel. Adhere to the mine site safety and health system. Ensure safety of self and fellow colleagues. ABOUT YOU Demonstrated underground coal experience as an operator is essential. Experience with a focus on ventilation work is highly desirable. Training transcripts and/or qualifications & tickets. A passion for safety. Ability to work independently and as part of a team with a strong passion for safety. Effective communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately. Valid driver's licence.
